Private & Group Music Lessons for the Wamego, KS Area
Flint Hills Academy of Music (formerly known as Studio Ambit) was established in 2017 by Heather Miller of Wamego, Kansas, in order to bring professional music instruction to the community since music has always been a major part of her life. Heather and Chelsea Coon met through Crosspoint Community Church and play in the same Praise and Worship Band together after which Heather brought Chelsea on board to start teaching private piano and voice lessons at Flint Hills Academy of Music. Chelsea started teaching a small group of young children and really enjoyed every second of it. In the spring of 2019, Chelsea Coon decided to purchase the music studio from Heather so she could focus more on her passion for music and teaching children and young adults in the community.
We have five professional music instructors providing private and group lessons for ukulele, guitar, piano, drum, violin, and voice for all ages. Research proves music enhances lives and makes each student a better learner.
Our mission is to provide music lesson opportunities for children, young adults, and adults so we can facilitate a lifetime love of music in every student.
